From July 4 to 28, 2025, the commune of Moorea-Maiao, with the support of the Papeete urban area's City Contract, invites you to experience a month of vibrant celebrations in tune with our Polynesian traditions
At the Nu’uroa field in Haapiti, more than 20 free events await you: dance performances, traditional singing, ancestral sports, live concerts, and inter-district games!

🔸 Hiva Vaevae (July 14) – association parade + big musical evening
🔸 Tu’aro Ma’ohi (July 18) – spotlight on traditional sports: copra, stone lifting, javelin…
🔸 Heiva Arearea (July 25–28) – 6 teams, 4 days of games and laughter
