Getting here and getting around

There are numerous transportation options available for navigating Tahiti, ranging from taxis and buses to car and motor scooter rentals. It’s advisable to arrange airport transfers through your accommodation or travel agent in advance. Tahiti-Faa’a International Airport serves as the hub for domestic flights to other islands operated by Air Tahiti and Air Moana. Ferries to Moorea depart several times daily from the ferry terminal in Papeete, while additional ferry services connect Tahiti with other islands in the Society Islands archipelago.
