Taha’a, located to the north of its sister island Raiatea, shares the same lagoon and embodies the laid-back Tahitian rhythm of life. This flower-shaped island is surrounded by a string of small motu, each boasting pristine white sandy beaches. The air is perfumed with the scent of vanilla from numerous plantations, which warmly welcome visitors. For an authentic experience, stay in a Tahitian Guesthouse, or choose from several hotels, including a luxury resort on a motu. Enjoy activities like snorkelling, diving, hiking, and boat trips. There are also two rum distilleries for you to visit.
