Getting here and getting around

A one-hour flight from Tahiti brings you directly to this tranquil haven in the Tuamotu Islands. The airport is located on a motu, so be sure to arrange your transfer to the village of Turipaoa in advance, either through your travel agent or your accommodation. The atoll’s only road runs along the shore for just a few miles, making it easy to explore on foot, by bike, or by motor scooter. If you prefer, you can also rent a car. Additionally, it’s possible to charter a yacht or rent a canoe or motorboat in the village.
