Tahiti

Day 1

Island tour

  • Arrival at Tahiti-Faa’a International Airport
  • Guided tour of the island with stops at the main tourist sites on the west coast: Marae Arahurahu, the Mara’a caves, the water gardens of Vaipahi. Followed by the best sites on the east coast: The Trou du Souffleur blowhole, The 3 Cascades waterfalls in Fa’aurumai valley, and the Vaihi waterfall at Faaone, Pape’ana’ana waterfall and pool at Hitia’a and finally the black sand beach at Venus Point to admire the golden sunset.

Day 2 & 3

Papenoo, Tetiaroa or Tahiti’s peninsula

  • Four-wheel drive safari to the valley of Papenoo or a guided hike to the lavatubes of Hitia’a.
  • As an alternative, take a day trip by catamaran to Tetiaroa atoll.
  • A boat excursion to the Tahiti Iti peninsula with the possibility of a short hike olong the trails in Te Pari.

Moorea

Day 1

Food tour and Fare Natura

  • Take the fast ferry to Moorea.
  • Rent a car and check in at your furnished accommodation
  • Take a ‘Food Tour’ to discover and taste the local cuisine.
  • Visit the eco-museum in the valley of Opunohu to learn about the incredible biodiversity of The Islands of Tahiti.

Day 2 & 3

Lagoon and hiking

  • Day 2:
    • Lagoon excursion including visit to the island’s two bays, a swim with the manta rays and a traditional lunch on a motu (islet).
  • Day 3:
    • Explore the island’s interior by e-bike, quad ATV or on a hiking tour.

3 days in

Raiatea

Day 1

Marae Taputapuatea

  • Take the ferry back to Tahiti or a direct Moorea – Raiatea flight.
  • Take the 45 minute flight to Raiatea from Tahiti-Faa’a International Airport.
  • Check in to your Tahitian Guesthouse
  • Take a guided tour to the marae of Taputapuatea, the most sacred site in the Polynesian triangle, classed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. Take the trail to thge top of Te-Ara-Hiti-Ni’a opposite the marae, to admire the magnificent view.

Day 2 & 3

Diving and kayaking

  • Day 2:
    • For diving enthusiasts, a dive to the wreck of the Nordby, a Danish three-masted schooner which sank in 1900.
    • For non-divers, an excursion to the neighboring island of Taha’a, with a visit to a vanilla plantation and a rum distillery.
  • Day 3:
    • A kayak expedition or boat trip up the Faaroa river, the only navigable river in French Polynesia.

3 days in

Bora Bora

Day 1

Island tour

  • 20 minute flight from Raiatea to Bora Bora
  • Transfer and check in to hotel
  • Tour of the island by car, electric scooter or quad ATV with stops at main tourist sites, including Matira beach and the American military canons left over from operation Bobcat in WW2.

Day 2 & 3

Motu pique-nique

  • Day 2:
    • A full day excursion on the most beautiful lagoon in the world, including a picnic on a motu with a view of the iconic Mount Otemanu.
  • Day 3:
    • Relax at the hotel before your flight to the biggest atoll in French Polynesia, Rangiroa.

3 days in

Rangiroa

Day 1 & 2

Dolphins & diving

  • Day 1:
    • Arrival in Rangiroa after 1h15 flight.
    • Transfer to hotel and check in.
    • Visit the island’s two main villages of Avatoru and Tiputa by bike.
    • After lunch, cycle to Tiputa to watch the dolphins playing in the pass.*
  • Day 2:
    • Diving in one of the many superb dive spots for which Rangiroa is world famous.

Day 3 & 4

Tour & wine

  • Day 3:
    • Day trip by boat to blue lagoon or ‘île aux récifs’ motu.
  • Day 4:
    • Visit a pearl farm and the local vineyard.
    • Go shopping for souvenirs.
    • Return to Tahiti-Faa’a international airport, 50 minute flight.
    • Check-in at same airport for international flight home.
